With nearly 20 years experience in creative wall décor, Gregorio Rodriguez is an accomplished painter/decorator based in Chicago. He actively collaborates with leading interior designers, decorators, and art directors to bring their visions to life.
Gregorio’s expertise in high-end painting and wall covering has made him an in-demand resource for both residential and commercial property projects. His work with local restaurateurs is especially notable.
From 2011 - 2018, Gregorio has worked for Crate & Barrel and CB2, names that are synonymous with upmarket, high-quality, contemporary design. Originally hired as a stylist assistant, he transitioned into set-building and scenic design in their photo studio.
As his position grew, Gregorio helped create the companies’ shared art department. There, he has specialized in faux finishes using various mediums, painting, wood finishes, tile design, and wallpaper. As a project manager, Gregorio was supervisor of the paint department.
For the past 4 years Gregorio has taken a new role in the photo world freelancing as Prop Styling Assistant / Art dept.
Gregorio has a background in Fine Art Photography/Graphic Design. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from ColumbiaCollege in Chicago in 2001.
An avid world traveler, voracious vinyl record collector, part-time DJ, lover of mid-century furniture, horticulture, hydroponics and all aspects of design, Gregorio’s passion drives him to channel his creativity into making the world a more beautiful place.
